5 Super-Healthy, Super-Tasty Super Bowl Snacks

Most of you know I live in Colorado but you may not know I’m a big Denver Broncos fan. I’m so excited for NFL Super Bowl 50!

For those who don’t watch, we WON and the Broncos will go on to face the Carolina Panthers in what is one of the most watched games of the year in America, the Super Bowl!

Super Bowl parties are a lot of fun, and there is never a shortage of food and drinks for game day. These snacks aren’t usually the picture of good health either. Fatty foods that offer little nutrition like chips and dips abound!

Well, this year I’m going to share a few of my very best recipes that will score a touchdown with even the pickiest of football fans. The best part is these are so much healthier than the traditional snacks. And yes, Panthers fans will enjoy these too!

1. Zesty Lime Baked Wings

No Super Bowl party is complete without hot wings. I think it’s actually an NFL rule that there MUST be hot wings at your party. So… here’s my recipe for Zesty Lime Baked Wings. These will stand up to any wing lovers standards!

2. Quick Turkey Meatballs

My quick Turkey Meatballs are hearty and really give you something to sink your teeth into. If you’re really feeling crafty, you can make them football shaped.

3. Tender and Juicy Quinoa Chicken Nuggets

I’m redeeming the bad reputation chicken nuggets have gained with this recipe. My Tender and Juicy Quinoa Chicken Nuggets are perfect for game day.

4. Super Bowl Salsa

Dips, dips and more dips. That’s what you’ll find at Super Bowl parties. Super Bowl Salsa to the rescue! This dip is hearty, healthy and real crowd pleaser.

5. Avocado Hummus

If you love those creamy rich dips my Avocado Hummus will hit the spot! Loaded with protein and healthy fats, this dip is a touchdown with party goers!
